We proudly announce that Marie-Sarah Oria is making her debut in Switzerland. In August 2024, she will join three exhibitions with her artwork.
- Swiss Art Expo, Zürich
- RossArt Gallery & Cultural Center in Zürich
- HelvetArt Association in Geneva
The artwork "Slipped in some nice" refers to the Brillo Boxes made by Andy Warhol in 1964. "Slipped in some nice" will be exhibited at the Swiss Art Expo and by Helvetart at the Hilton Geneva Hotel & Conference Centre.
In addition, Marie-Sarah Oria will join the Group Exhibition Light Room curated by RossArt Gallery in Zurich with several artworks.
Marie-Sarah Oria is based in the South of France, born in Perpignan in 1993. Her surrealist work is driven by a profound quest for meaning and connection. As a Catalan artist, she has been influenced by Salvador Dali, but she manages to transcend this influence and create her own unique aesthetic, imbued with sensitivity and depth. It was at the age of 18, while studying at the Ateliers de Sèvres in Paris, that she caught the attention of Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, who saw in her a future Cindy Sherman, Joseph Beuys, or Mario Merz. He followed her for years, serving as a mentor and advisor. See more...
